Minors
The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences offers a variety of minors for students looking to enhance or individualize their degree at UGA. Obtaining a minor allows students to specialize in an area of interest through specific courses and can often be achieved through the elective options in their major degree plan.
Minors look great on resumes and can give students some edge in career planning and applying for jobs. For instance, a student who hopes to someday open their own veterinary clinic would typically choose a science-based major, but an Agribusiness and Management minor could complement their degree with courses like Agribusiness Marketing and Agribusiness Finance.
