Certificates
A certificate is a 15-20 hour program, similar to a minor, that gives students the opportunity to broaden their educational experience and credentials. Certificate program requirements tend to be more interdisciplinary than minors. Students in certificate programs take a variety of courses that provide them with a general knowledge of the certificate program area — without having to change their major.
