An internship is one of the best ways to grow your professional network and gain real-world experience. CAES sponsors the internship opportunities below with student funding and support. Any of the college-sponsored internships below will fulfill the experiential learning requirement for CAES students.
Congressional Agricultural Fellowship
UGA CAES and several Georgia Congressional offices offer summer fellowship opportunities for students to serve as agricultural liaisons while in Washington, D.C.
Georgia Legislative Internship Program
The Senate Agriculture & Consumer Affairs Committee and UGA CAES co-sponsor a 12-week Legislative Internship with the Senate Agriculture & Consumer Affairs Committee.
UGA Extension Internship
UGA Extension offers semester-long internships to college students. Students will be matched with an agent in the county or regional Extension office. The internship can be completed during any semester of the year and is a paid internship.
Winegrowers of Georgia Internship
CAES and Georgia wine producer associations are pleased to sponsor internships for students to study viticulture and enology by spending a summer or fall semester, working with Georgia winegrowers, winery owners, managers and winemakers.
