This inaugural event will feature research-backed insights from the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) as well as leaders of industry from “field to table” to share what is happening with food prices and inflation. Dr. Michael Adjemian of the Agricultural & Applied Economics department will kick off the program with brief findings from research and data, including those from the 2025 Ag Forecast. CAES alumni, students, and friends are invited to attend as representatives from producers to suppliers to retailers share some of the input costs and challenges affecting Georgians. The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Alumni Association Awards is an annual event that honors college alumni for their outstanding achievements. The ceremony also includes recognition of new inductees into the Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame. Awards will be given at the UGA CAES Alumni Association Awards on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Classic Center in Athens, GA.

Since 2007, Flavor of Georgia has launched new products into success and garnered more publicity and sales for products already in the market. From rural farmers to urban businesses, successful and talented food artisans have emerged from all over Georgia to create delicacies from the abundant agricultural products our state has to offer. Over 1,800 products have entered the contest since it began.

Ag Dawgs After Hours

Join CAES alumni and friends for an evening of Ag Dawg camaraderie and networking. Past events have been held in Athens, Macon, Atlanta, Greensboro, Cartersville, Albany, Thomasville, LaGrange, Denver, CO, Baton Rouge, LA, and Washington, D.C. Hope to see you at an Ag Dawgs After Hours soon!

CAES Chats

CAES Chats are designed to create a fun and educational virtual experience for alumni and friends. We want to stay connected while everyone is at a distance. Zoom registration links will be emailed to alumni before the chat. View past CAES Chats.

Intros and Appetizers

This is a networking event for students and CAES alumni. The goal is to provide a low-pressure environment for students to connect with alumni, and engage in potential internship and job discussions.

UGA CAES Alumni Association Awards

Celebrate four Alumni Award of Excellence recipients and four Young Alumni Achievement Award recipients as well as the induction of two individuals into the Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame.
