Terence J. Centner International Scholarship
The Terence J. Centner International Scholarship honors Professor Centner’s distinguished career in the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences during which he was an Alexander von Humboldt fellow in Germany, taught semester-long courses as a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of Mannheim and a Fulbright-Scotland Visiting Professor at the University of Aberdeen, and lectured in 49 foreign countries.
This scholarship assists talented undergraduate CAES students participating in fall or spring semester study abroad programs at accredited foreign institutions of higher learning.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be currently enrolled in a CAES undergraduate degree program. Eligible study abroad activities include fall or spring semester exchange programs in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, or South America.

- Essay (max 2 pages) describing your proposed exchange program, including your interest in this particular program and the learning outcomes you hope to achieve.
Additional Requirements
Recipients are expected to give at least one presentation at a public event upon returning to UGA.
