Georgia Plant Science Scholars
Georgia Plant Science Scholars (GAPSS) is a three-and-a-half-day residential program for high school students and teachers. GAPSS will immerse participants into the world of plant science and agricultural science. Explore the wonders of plant science via tours, lectures and hands-on activities. Participate in a mini-science conference and present your team creations about a plant science topic.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a high school student with an interest in math, science, agriculture, or engineering.
- Completion of the freshman year of high school.
- Be willing to make a commitment to scientific exploration for the program and understand you are required to attend the sessions and classes.
- Submit a completed application including essay to be reviewed by the GAPSS Program.

Program Dates: June 23 - 26, 2024
Application Deadline: April 5, 2024
There is a fee of $275 to attend GAPSS, which will be collected once you are accepted into the program.
