Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame

The Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame was established by the CAES Alumni Association in 1972 to recognize individuals making unusual and extraordinary contributions to agriculture and agribusiness industries in Georgia.

Each person inducted into the Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame is first nominated, then selected by a committee designated by the CAES Dean and the president of the CAES Alumni Association. Those nominated must have the following criteria:

  • Impeccable character
  • Outstanding leadership affecting Georgia agriculture
  • Noteworthy contributions
  • Appropriate recognition for achievements
  • Accomplishments in more than one area

The induction ceremony for the Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame is held annually in conjunction with the UGA CAES Alumni Association Awards.

Nominations are open through June 30, 2025 for the 2026 Georgia Agricultural Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Tate Center in Athens, GA.
